Interesting to see how Medium will try to tackle this challenge. It’s definitely challenging to resolve this algorithmically - it will require efforts to be put in by community sourcing as well. Maybe a “community notes” kind of idea like Twitter (X) uses today could be a good starting point. The submitted community notes can be reviewed by Medium employees and thereby flagged accordingly.
